Tips from campers about Fernie, BC
- Kim Ruggieri Fernie seems like a really fun town. We definitely want to come back, and explore more of the area.4 months ago Fernie RV Resort
- AJarman Visit downtown Fernie for a bunch of restaurants, shops (mostly outdoorsy/ski shops), services and just a great walk around a historic downtown. Pick up bagels and cream cheese (or enjoy a bagel sandwich!) at Big Bang Bagels - best I've had, period. On the north side of Fernie, visit Fernie Brewing for some fantastic beer. The Fernie Visitor Centre is also super helpful with activities in the Fernie area (biking, hiking, etc). Also, if your not from BC and like wine, stopping at BC Liquour or a wine store (anywhere in the province, but there's a one or two close to downtown Fernie) to get some excellent BC wine - it's well known as world-class wine by Canadians, but doesn't get outside Canada much!5 months ago Fernie RV Resort
