The owner was very helpful with lots of local knowledge. We took many of his recommendations and had a great couple of days in the town. There is also a washer/dryer to use on site for $2.50 a load....

We stayed here while visiting friends in Kelowna and enjoyed the park and the owners. As others have said, the sites were quite long and accommodated our Jeep and RV hooked up. There were tall hedges...

Tips from campers about Orchard Valley RV Park
- Rev_Robert Obviously Dinosaur Valley State Park is a must. Dinosaur World was better than expected. Glen Rose is a quaint little town with some nice shops and eateries. And not least, there are water activities on the Paluxy River.3 years ago Dinosaur Valley State Park
- Onmyway1 Storybook Cafe, a novel experience, on Bernard St. Best grilled cheese sandwich I ever had. 3 kinds of cheese, bacon, tomato, avocado between toasted bread. My mouth is watering just remembering it. Stone Hut is just down the road. Creation Evidence Museum is just down the road. Dinosaur Valley State Park is just down the road. Dinosaur World for the kids is just across the street.3 years ago Dinosaur Valley State Park
- ManBitesDog Hiking trails are easy to hike. There are several different dinosaur track sites in the Paluxy River. Some you can drive to with just a short walk to the river. We ate at the Sexton Mill restaurant in Glen Rose one night. Great atmosphere. Glen Rose is a small town, a lot of nearby attractions and even some restaurants were closed Mon-Wed. We also visited Bone-anza Barn:Books & Antiques on the town square. Its worth a look.2 weeks ago Dinosaur Valley State Park

Access to the park is good. Easy to find and pavement all the way. Parameter road is dirt with a spattering of gravel and lots of pot holes. Check in was different. We arrived without a reservation...

The spots in this small park are spacious. Each has nice tall hedges on either side, you wouldn't know you have neighbors beside you. Nice quiet area. Hook-ups are convenient and worked well. Spots...

Tip for Other Campers:
Take in the Myra Canyon / Kettle Valley Railroad trail by bike or hike. You will have to drive a gravel road to get to the trail, but it is worth every bit of it. Http://www.myra-trestles.com/trail-information/maps/

Tip for Other Campers:
North Glenmore has 2 nice little malls right next to each other on Kane road, which is only a 2 minute drive from the RV park. With two grocery stores, pharmacy, liquor store, pubs and numerous restaurants, you don't need to fight with Kelowna traffic in town.
