“Lovely, wooded spot right off the Alcan highway, magical hot springs setting”

This is a deep oval parking drive N of the Alcan highway for RVs,with sites well separated by trees and picnic tables. A Y divide (right) leads to the area for for day visitors (playground there too)....

Liard Hot Springs is across the street. There is a playground at the park, change area and pit toliets.

- J M H Some fun things to do outside of the campground are the shops (Front Street) & water activities in Traverse City, the local wineries/vineyards, and the DNR Outdoor Shooting range (5 miles away & free to the public). Walk or drive to hot springs, bison and bears nearby. Beware.

The campground was kept very clean by staff. There is an electric fence around the CG so animals cant get in. There are about 20 reserve ahead sites and about 30 first come first serve sites....

Tip for Other Campers:
A boardwalk takes you to the springs from the CG or day use area. About 0.3 mile nice walk through wetlands. The springs open at 7 am and close at 10 pm. There are restrooms & showers in a nearby bldg and changing rooms (men & women) right at the springs. There is an upper (hotter) pool and lower pool. We loved them so much we went 4 times in the two days...
