  BB13 Bring what you need, the nearest towns are San Saba and Lampasas, both probably about a 45 minute drive. There's a Tractor Supply and Walmart in Lampasas, as well as diesel fuel at a couple of gas stations.

  BB13 If you're a backpacker, you can do a big loop as all of the main trails connect. If you're a day hiker, make sure you hike into Gorman Falls, Gorman Spring and Tinaja.
