Plan a day trip on the ferry (foot passenger and vehicle) to Malcolm Island and visit the fishing community of Sointula. Enjoy the culture of this unique Finnish settlement which was founded in the early 1900s. Also, plan a day trip to Port Hardy, visit the ferry terminal to the north, and see the End of the Highway Carrot Campaign monument
