Go to Hyder-you dont want to take an RV there as customs coming back in can be tough. Visit the Fish Creek salmon viewing if its spawning season (we were early)

The local viewing area of the bears by the four service in Alaska, is a bit overhyped. They do charge I think $10 and theres a walking boardwalk that you can stand on above the meadow and riverbed.
