Tips from campers about Whistler, BC
- MichH Eat here and play here. Or, go to Whistler.7 months ago Whistler RV Park and Campground
- 3035er Rt 99 from Vancouver is justly called "The Sea to Sky Highway". This is a great base camp for the many scenic drives and activities from Squamish to Whistler. BEWARE if you leave by taking rt 99 Northeast of whistler toward Kamloops (or if you come in from the opposite direction). This road has many hairpin turns, 7-13% GRADES and is rough in places. We did fine with a newer, powerful diesel truck pulling a 33 ft fifth wheel. However, I wouldn't want to attempt this with an under-powered vehicle or poor brakes/tires.7 months ago Whistler RV Park and Campground
- DougHenson Walk into Whistler village. The walk is nice. The village has a good art museum. Shopping, and there are many restaurants to choose from. You can also walk to Lost lake.7 months ago Riverside Resort
