Canada's National Park campgrounds are well thought out and well maintained. We camped at Kicking Horse Campground in a Truck Camper.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay here dry camping. The water spigot to fill your rv tank is kind of hidden, but we found it near site #78. Theres no dump here but go down the road towards Monarch...

This is a nice campground that can accommodate big rigs in the meadow section. Plenty of sites for smaller rigs and tents in the other sections. It's first come first served so arrive early. Pull...

Beautiful views, meadow area very open - any size rig would be comfortable. Lots of sites for larger rigs on each loop. We camped at Kicking Horse Campground in a Motorhome.

There was a fast raging river right next to the site which was probably dangerous but neat to listen to. The campground is rustic yet pretty. The restrooms were not very clean and overused. There...

Tip for Other Campers:

Get provisions before you get to the National Park (little stores and restaurants are pricey). Visit Emerald Lake and walk the loop. Lake Louise was pretty but very touristy; saw a Clark's Nutcracker in the parking lot. The passes of the Yoho hadn't opened for the season yet, so no fossils for us.
