“Noisy but close to falls.”
Nightly Rate: $16 CAD
Campground right next to Trans Canada Highway and rail line. Good point is that it is right in the heart of Yo Ho National Park so travel to hiking is minimized. Train woke me up a couple times during...

Tips from campers about Monarch Campground
- Rollin Ollens Make sure you visit Takkakaw Falls2 years ago Monarch Campground
- TomLK Wapta Falls is a must-see - one of the most beautiful falls in Canada, that is not crowded. Takakkawa falls and spiral tunnels - as we did not see trains on the other spiral viewpoint sites, we had more luck on the way back from the Takakkawa falls. - Ronald Ames Visit the spiral train tunnel. We hit it when a train was coming through. Saw elk and mountain goats.2 years ago Monarch Campground

“Surprise: a nice and scenic Campground”
Nightly Rate: $19 CAD
We stayed here during Canada Day, because during the booking period we got no site at the kicking horse campground. Monarch is a first-come-first-campground with no service at all. (Better I do not...

“Pretty park - Would stay again”
Nightly Rate: $20 CAD
Pretty park. No hookups. Some road noise but not enough to disturb us inside our rig. Good place to leave rig while visiting the falls. We camped at Monarch Campground in a Travel Trailer.
