The Southgate Brewing Co. Was pretty good (and has porters, our favorite beer). The Sweetwater Steakhouse was fair-to-good. There are a few nice grocery stores in Oakhurst. - Les and Jane Breckenridge is about 9 miles away, and a wonderful town with lots to do. Frisco is a little further away with lots of bike trails near the lake and tons of touristy shopping.
