Make sure you take a day trip to Mammoth Lakes, and try some fishing at Convict Lake. The nearest grocery store is in Mammoth, fairly close.

Tip for Other Campers:
Not far from Bishop the town, and going the other way Mammoth Lakes. The ghost town of Bodie isn't too far away either. Offroading heaven here.
