“Its fairgrounds not your typical camp site”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
Easy in and out. No one is too close. Its quiet at night. Its a good central location for hiking biking or rock climbing. We camped at Tri-County Fairgrounds Bishop RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Just south of Bishop is the town of Big Pine, Copper Top Bar b Que. The best ribs I have ever eaten. I aspire to make my ribs that great.

- tlwpdq Took a trip to Pictured Rock, nice views. Set your GPS for miners castle or you will go way out of your way. Stopped at Bear Trap inn and the waitress let us know that tip. Drove to miner falls, short hike to the falls very beautiful.10 months ago Fayette Historic State Park

“The grounds were littered with garbage”

We stayed in site #14. The spaces are quite close together with little/no room to be outside your RV. All sites are back in. The park is packed dirt with full hookups. There is a seperate area that is...

Tip for Other Campers:
It is a pleasant walk to Schatt's bakery! And there is a Von's grocery store across very close by.
Be sure to check out the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest where apparently the worlds oldest tree can be seen.
