“Nice park to use as a basecamp for our adventures in the region.”

We stayed at Willow Springs for a quick (2 night) weekend trip. Clean campground. All sites are gravel. Sites 4-9 have lots of room for maneuvering and backing into the site. We stayed in site 9 and...

“Nice stopover”
Nightly Rate: $65 USD
Very nice RV park, rustic but clean and well placed on Highway 395. Close to Bridgeport, 6 miles away. Good internet, water and sewer good. We camped at Willow Springs Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips from campers about Willow Springs Motel & RV Park
- Geese Get your gas/diesel back in Reno or Carson City because its about $3 more per gallon near here.3 years ago Willow Springs Motel & RV Park

- Leydog There is very little to do in Bridgeport, the seat of Mono County. One thing I can recommend is the museum, housed in the old schoolhouse. It contains exhibits and photos about the prominent towns of the entire county, and items from the area. It is interesting to note a number of Victorian buildings in town. Since the courthouse was built in 1881, as was the hotel across the street, I would assume that the elegant Victorian houses also date from that time. I also recommend a visit to the ghost town of Bodie (a 15 mile drive), which was the county seat of Mono County when it was simultaneously part of both Nevada and California. If you take a hike to the cemetery in Bodie, you will see family names you will recognize in Bridgeport and Mono. I also recommend a trip to Mono Lake (19 miles). It took over a half day for us to do each. Gas prices is the area are extremely high, so plan accordingly.3 years ago Willow Springs Motel & RV Park
