Tips from campers about Chilcoot, CA
- BT3927 There are a few hiking trails leading to the lake and one that leads to a natural bridge. We hiked to the bridge. The trail and hike were pleasant even though it was a bit hot and muggy as we descended down into the gorge where the bridge is located. The natural bridge itself however was a bit underwhelming.6 months ago Keowee-Toxaway State Natural Area
- Ingine Jumping Off Rock Overlook is a short distance away, and although a slow drive, but well worth it.2 years ago Keowee-Toxaway State Natural Area
- RobertN Issaqueena Falls/Stumphouse is close by and is worth the visit. $5 parking fee (cash). Also nearby is Hagood Mill Historic Site, which is a very nice (free) site and includes Hagood Creek Petroglyph Site - which is why we visited.5 years ago Keowee-Toxaway State Natural Area
