Tip for Other Campers:
Old town Chula Vista has some great Mexican food, North Island Credit Union amphitheater is close for concerts and/or the waterpark. San Diego is a short drive away.
Tips from campers about San Diego Metro KOA Resort
- Scldg Need to tell them your rig is about 5 feet longer than it really is--many of us had to park our tow vehicles at crazy angles trying to get everything to squeeze into our sites. Best sites: 1801-2210 Only two restrooms/shower areas, but both looked really nice, with most RV sites being quite a distance, so if you need the facilities you will need to specify location.6 years ago San Diego Metro KOA Resort

Very large mall across the freeway. Not withing walking distance.
