- Prillm__275 Sleeping Bear Dunes is a must; absolutely beautiful. Point Betsie Lighthouse and Frankfort Light are very photogenic. Roadhouse and Birch & Maple have great food. The Betsie Valley Trail was an awesome bike ride from Beulah to Frankfort.11 months ago Timberline Campground

Tip for Other Campers:
Very cute restaurant, Railroad Dinner. Food was very good and service pretty good. One fault, maybe not important for you, but the Martini's we order were short pours. At least the first one. We spoke to the bartender who then on the next drinks, were what we kind of get at other bars and restaurants.

It's about a 10-min walk to the restaurant from the campground. Suggest to not do it at night, though. If you have a vehicle, use it. It's pitch black at night, and a bit scary to do especially with all the bear signs around.
