I always explain directions to every camper that comes to our park. It is very obvious, and comfortable to enter the park. The 10-site walk is very short, and most people love it because it stretches their legs. The roads here are paved and not rough or steep. Most of our sites can accommodate big rigs and people who stay here remark on how roomy they are, please see out our aerial video on our website. When we are full, we can only offer what is available and not all sites can accommodate a large RV with tow rig. I explained to Mr. Gauthier prior to coming in with his 44' rig that this was the only site available at the time. We do have bears as does the entire Sierra region. The bears are more afraid of you than you are of them. We do have long term campers who are working for PG & E to alleviate the fire hazards which we will always welcome. These men and their families are very courteous first responders and I cannot believe anyone would complain about their presence.

Laurie1 Monte Vista restaurant was within walking distance, great food and nice ambiance. 30 minute drive to Nevada City and Empire Mine in Grass Valley. 60 minute drive to Lake Tahoe.

Laurie1 Grass Valley and Nevada City are only a 30 minute drive. Empire Mine is an interesting place to visit. Two nice hiking trails nearby, Eukre Bar and Stevens Trail offer semi difficult hiking experiences.
