“Great staff, and very clean”

We always camp here, going to and from San Diego. Very nice facilities with a large laundry room. During our most recent stay in March 2025, there was an exceptional Air Show featuring the Blue...

Stayed at El Centro in El Centro, CA for 2 nights. Its a very nice spot - we even had a small tree next to us in the desert. Well-taken care of spaces. Not sure how many spaces there are but Id guess...

Tips from campers about Palm Oasis RV Park & Resort
- rd9999 Hanna Park is convenient to good restaurants. Check out Safe Harbor Seafood, Engine 15 Brewing (great Cuban sandwich and excellent beer) and Metro Diner for breakfast or lunch. Or take the nearby ferry across the St. John's River to Sandollar Restaurant for some great seafood.7 years ago Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park
- Miles and Smiles Site 269 looks like a pull-through, but it's not. We pulled in nose first so that we'd have privacy in our sitting area, but you could back in if you prefer. We parked the car on the other end of the "pull-through-looking" site, with the fire pit between RV and car.6 years ago Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park
- Traveling Glebers Proximity to Mayport Naval Station is a plus.6 years ago Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park

We've stayed at several bases on our trip cross-country and this one is at the top of our list. Anyone who complains about loud jet noise that is eligible to stay on a military base should have their...

The Mirage club offered Mongolian BBQ on Thursday evenings. Good food. Roads into the base aren't great, so go slow.

First, you must be able to access military installations to utilize this camp ground. Second, you have to deal with the noise of jet aircraft (aka the sound of freedom). Now that we have that clear...
