Tip for Other Campers:
Town has Costco, Walmart, and lots of shopping and restaurants. Imperial dunes and Salton Sea are less than an hour. Palm Springs is two hours away.

The Mirage club offered Mongolian BBQ on Thursday evenings. Good food. Roads into the base aren't great, so go slow.

Town is 10 miles away with everything you could need. Base has a small commissary and exchange. Star Link works great here.
