Tip for Other Campers:
Hwy 1 is very challenging to drive. For large RV's I would reconsider going north of this park on 1.
Tips from campers about Anchor Bay Campground
- Nick86 Fargo ND is only one hour away and definitely a good day trip. If you enjoy history and museums, go check out Bonanzaville. In Detroit Lakes, a Walmart and Aldi are only minutes from the park entrance. For a spot on the lake to eat and listen to music, be sure to check out Long Bridge Bar, Grill and Marina.2 years ago Forest Hills RV & Golf Resort

Just down the hill from the community of Anchor Bay. Hosting a laundromat, coffee shop, general store and one of the best Thai restaurants in Northern California! Seriously!!
