Hike the Gualala Point Regional Park on the other side of highway 1. Lazy river for kayaking, canoeing. Gualala town has essentials if yiu need them - grocery shopping, hardware store, a few restaurants.

The Surf Market in Gualala is great grocery store and includes a deli. Trinks Cafe in Gualala has excellent bake goods. Gualala Point Regional Park has an easy walk to the beach where the Gualala River meets the ocean.
