Tip for Other Campers:
We got a fairly level site but we did see some that were more uneven. Bring blocks in case you need them. It's an 8 minute drive into the nearest town of Idyllwild which has lots of shops and restaurants. There is lots of hiking in the surrounding area but you need a permit which is available in Idyllwild. Dogs are allowed on the U.S. Forest Service trails...
