“Great Pickleball, and good spacious sites”
Nightly Rate: $110 USD
Well managed, and good full service. Nice spacing between sites. Great Clubhouse area, and good Pickleball! We camped at Indian Waters RV Resort & Cottages in a Travel Trailer.

“Stellar park with either gravel or grass sites, all sites are back in only”
Nightly Rate: $85 USD
This place fills up a year in advance. It is really only inhabitable in the winter, too hot in the summer. We stayed in a gravel lot, with paved driveways for both the RV and the pickup, and a paved...

Tip for Other Campers:
The Taqueria Guerrero on Avenue 48 behind the Walmart Grocery store is great for lunch takeout.
Indio Taphouse is good enough, there are very few other food options in Indio, you need to drive to La Quinta.
Do not run red lights, there are cameras on every intersection and I have never seen more police cars.
Tips from campers about Indian Waters RV Resort & Cottages
- Nancyw680 If you’re looking for a fun, tasty meal, try the RD RNNR in La Quinta. They are dog friendly and even have a doggie menu offering items like cheese slices and bacon slices. If you’re into hiking, try the La Quinta Cove Oasis Trailhead. Dogs are allowed on the East Cove Trailhead, an easy 2.1-mile loop, but they are not allowed past this trail into the San Jacinto Mountains. For a scenic drive into the mountains, look up Box Canyon Road. It’s about a 15-mile drive between Mecca and I-10 (near the Salton Sea). There are some hiking trails in the area – look for the signs along the side of the road. There also seem to be some good spots for boondocking. However, be careful where you pull off the road because the sand on the shoulder is often soft and deep.4 years ago Indian Waters RV Resort & Cottages
- Ginger Grant A must see...feed the giraffes at the Living Desert. Joshua Tree is also a must...plan for most of the day...you need a ticket, food and water with you. The tram is great too.3 years ago Indian Waters RV Resort & Cottages
- ErikB If you are going to travel east on I10 when you leave, fuel up first. There aren't many gas stations along the freeway on your way to Arizona, and those that exist are not well advertised by signs.3 years ago Indian Waters RV Resort & Cottages

Tip for Other Campers:
We ate at Marios Italian in Indio and also at Louises in LaQuinta. Both have been in business for many years. Lots of food options and good eats. The Palm Springs Tramway is a must do.

“Nice place but to expensive for what you get”
