“Love the spacing, views and tiered sites, beach is awesome”
Nightly Rate: $70 USD
The way they built the park is pretty genius. All sites have great views and lots of greenery between the sites to make it very private. The rangers are very particular so follow their rules or they...

Tips from campers about Crystal Cove State Park - Moro Campground
- WillyChuck Out of Africa animal park and Alcantera winery are minutes away. Groceries and pharmacies are also just a few miles away on the east side of Interstate 17. It is twenty five minutes to charming old-town Cottonwood with award-winning wineries, shops and an exceptional "jail trail" riparian river walk with tall cottonwoods, a variety of birds and wildlife. In the summer, avoid the heat and walk early.5 years ago Rancho Verde RV Park
- fils 3022_ Lots of fun stuff to do together as a family, there's different activities, whether something in the morning brunch or around dinner time. The activities are really nice and you don't feel pressure to participate. But if you choose to, it's just a small fee, it's only like $5 a person. For breakfast and champagne . Love, live ,love.1 month ago Rancho Verde RV Park
- Miles_574 Be careful, there are three similarly named RV parks very close to each other. The best is Verde River RV Resort & Cottages (social hour with complimentary beer and wine food for sale on Fridays free waffle tea and coffee two mornings a week and complete Sunday breakfast $5 on Sunday, . Verde Ranch RV is new next to freeway few trees. Rancho Verde RV is much older now amenities. I am writing this because I stayed at VERDE RIVER RV RESORT AND COTTAGES but was pushed to review the newer one so there is definitely a confusion going on and they are nothing alike. “Great view. Decent sized sites. ”
Nightly Rate: $75 USD
We camped on a 35 motorhome. Spacious sites with enough space for our large motor home and a separate car. Unfortunately no fire pits and no wood fires allowed. Only gas fires. My rv site #8 had...

“U can't beat the view”
Nightly Rate: $80 USD
U can't beat the view and the waves crashing against the shore below. The beach, accessable from another area, can't be beat. I say accessable from another area because the access to the beach from...

Laguna Beach is just south. Trader Joe's and a great fish market is just north. And you cant beat the view.

“Lovely views of the ocean. ”
Nightly Rate: $75 USD
California state parks are crazy strict about check-in time. Not a minute before 3pm! We left the KOA in San Diego and drove north, we tried stopping at a rest area but every space was taken. We drove...

Tip for Other Campers:
The beach is beautiful. Rocky in some places but great for exploring. Laguna Beach is to the south, Newport Beach to the north. Trader Joes is just north on PCH about a half mile. Pavilions supermarket south on PCH about 2 miles. Ants are an issue here. Bring ant powder and spread it around your rig. The Beachcomber cafe is worth a visit. Very pricy... But...
