Tip for Other Campers:
The area surrounding the lodge property is a little dicey. With many homeless and unsavory appearing folks. We have never been bothered by anyone or had anything stolen. We feel safe while staying on the Elks property. To the west near Highway 14 there are great places to eat and shop. We really like Karens Kitchen, Crazy Ottos for breakfast and Don Cucos...
