Ackerman Campground sits as the meat in a sandwich between Trinity Dam Blvd and a river-like spur of Lewiston Lake. The sites have pretty decent spacing. Vegetation within the campground is limited...

Cleanliness

We love Ackerman because it is well-hosted but about as close to boondocking as you can get. The skies here are dark and we come to use our telescopes. We also fish, but have not had much luck....

Tips from campers about Ackerman Campground

pilots48 It's to bad that the 2 buildings that once had toilets and showers have been closed and are being vandalized. Also to bad some sites don't have water and electric seeing that water and electric are/were already in the campground. They could easily create a honor pay system.
