Tips from campers about Thousand Trails Ponderosa

  • JohnLoc843 Camping in Michigan for out of state campers is worth it, ONLY if you plan to camp at least a couple of weeks. That makes it worth buying two annual passes, one for the RV and one for the tow vehicle ($78), in addition to your camping fees of $45/night for electricity only. If you only plan to camp in Michigan less than a week, it's not worth it IMO, but if you can ignore the big fees and hassle, you'll enjoy the parks, most state parks having only electric with a dumpsite and water fill station
  • Juan2L Walmart. Probably, would have had more room.
  • A&TsTravels Went to the light show in townon the river. Nicely done. Had dinner at the Unicorn which was to die for.
