“Lovely spot we blocked again for next year”

Enjoyed it, beautiful weather close to national parks and mammoth lakes. We camped at McGee Creek RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tip for Other Campers:
If you need internet you will need a cellular signal booster or satellite. There is WiFi at the office but not throughout the campground.
Tips from campers about McGee Creek RV Park & Campground
- Travelincouple I would avoid this place. I would also try to avoid I-10. The construction is endless and our unit took a pounding on these roads and bridges. Lanes are narrow and it is a constant parade of 18 wheelers. This was not a fun experience. I am an experienced driver having driven oversized vehicles most of my life. Youre at altitude and the sun is warm, a/c helps during the day.

Tip for Other Campers:
For kayaking and fishing: Convict & Crowley Lakes. Crowley Village has a terrific general store with good wines and homemade bread and baked goods. There is a well maintained bike path around Mammoth Lakes. Stop at The Stove for breakfast or lunch - locally owned and operated. The food is great and well priced!

Great hiking at Mosquito Flats and Convict Lake. Still a lot of snow at higher elevations in mid May.
