Restaurant recommendation from locals sent me to Dockside and its little brother, Dockside Too. North end of town and worth it. Fish and chips that didnt fry the fish away. Lightly breaded, very fresh. I had two bbq oysters and they were the biggest oysters I had ever seen. Yum. Kayak rentals in several locations. Bike rentals.

Tip for Other Campers:
Walk the boardwalk around Morro Rock. Sandwiches at Hofbrau were delicious. Nice casual atmosphere.

Tip for Other Campers:
Little shops, coffee shops in Morro Bay are fun. Nearby wintering monarch butterflies are a must see. Birding is spectacular. Albertsons in town is an acceptable grocery store. T-Mobile 2 to 3 bars in park.
