Don't miss the Kern Valley museum if you enjoy learning about local history. The docents are extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
Lake Isabella was almost full and was predicted to be full again when the snow in the mountains melts.

It's a trailer park with spots in between for RVs. Jenny was friendly and helpful. We camped at Lake Isabella RV Resort in a Motorhome.
