- McQuaid RV We ate at Splash and Brads downtown Pismo, both are good. We like the Clam Chowder at Brads a little bit more than Splash. Old Juan's Cantina on the corner is great mexican food. The Monarch Grove is nice to see in the winter months, since we were here in January we got some great viewing of the butterflies. If you're into clamming there were lots of people clamming the BIG clams at the beach.
