Tips from campers about Cachuma Lake Recreation Area

  • SMHopkins I parked in Lot 5 for the Longueuil subway for $6.75 all day and took the subway into the city each day. I purchased the MTL Attraction Pass for $125 CA and it gave me access to 28 attractions, the Metro (subway) and buses for 72 hours. After adding up what the admission fees would have been for the things I did, it saved me about $275. You can also buy a 3 day pass for the Metro and buses for $15; a good deal since a one way ticket is $3.50.
  • Papapohli Visit old town Montral and go hiking!
  • Danyne There was so much construction that it was a real pain to go into Montral so we explored Beloeil. Lovely downtown and riverfront. We also went to a wonderful winery: La Grande Allee. The wine was so delicious we couldnt choose so we bought 4 bottles.
