Tip for Other Campers:
Drive 30 minutes to the Longueuil Marina, park and take 20 minute ferry to Old Town. Ferry runs every hour and is convenient. Avoid driving into the city due to major road construction. We ate at the Brasseurs du Moulin in Beloeil, about 15 minutes away. Youll pass a couple of gas stations and grocery stores (Maxi and IGA) on the way. There are several...

Tips from campers about Camping Alouette
- SMHopkins I parked in Lot 5 for the Longueuil subway for $6.75 all day and took the subway into the city each day. I purchased the MTL Attraction Pass for $125 CA and it gave me access to 28 attractions, the Metro (subway) and buses for 72 hours. After adding up what the admission fees would have been for the things I did, it saved me about $275. You can also buy a 3 day pass for the Metro and buses for $15; a good deal since a one way ticket is $3.50.6 years ago Camping Alouette
- Papapohli Visit old town Montral and go hiking!2 years ago Camping Alouette
- Danyne There was so much construction that it was a real pain to go into Montral so we explored Beloeil. Lovely downtown and riverfront. We also went to a wonderful winery: La Grande Allee. The wine was so delicious we couldnt choose so we bought 4 bottles.2 years ago Camping Alouette
