Tip for Other Campers:
Bring bikes as there is an excellent dedicate bike path to the lake and all the way to the state line. Stop at Epanash along the way for some tasty empanadas along the path. It is owned by a young Argentine who takes a lot of pride in his homemade dishes. We brought back the desert called Cinner which is an Dutch apple type creation and very tasty
“The campsites are the most beautiful I've seen.”
Nightly Rate: $20 USD
The sites are very large with much shade. Access to Fallen Leaf Lake and to Lake Tahoe was an easy hike from our site #20. We camped at Fallen Leaf Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Beautiful site and scenery. Quiet at night but everything echos. The roads are tiny and there isn’t anywhere to park at your site if your vehicle is over 30’. Bathrooms were so so. No...
