“Quiet, comfy spot. ”
Nightly Rate: $45 USD
We loved this campground. It was peaceful but also has a nice open area to play horseshoes or other lawn sports. Staff was friendly and helpful and spots were private and comfortable. We would love to...

Traveling in 36 Newmar MH. We had pull through site, that was compact dirt -between massive redwoods, awesome shade. We very much enjoyed our stay. This place gets a 10 on character scale. Sites are...

Tip for Other Campers:
Interior roads a bit tight. I managed in 36 MH with toad (largest rig on property at that time). I would say 40 is probably the tops I would be comfortable with, and would drop toad before entering. Trinidad is super small, but nice. 100% recommend the Eatery. Best clam chowder I ever had, and cobbler is a bomb. I was able to get diesel at the Chevron in...

- Bob & Callie Our stay in early June was cool, mid 50's during the day, overcast and a bit damp. Trinidad Bay Eatery and Gallery had great food. Simple homey place. Ask for one of Ashley's tables and tell her Bob & Callie from Ventura sent you, she was a fabulous waitress!2 years ago Emerald Forest Cabins & RV
- MaciesMom Grocery store about a mile up the road with lots of choices and decent prices.3 years ago Emerald Forest Cabins & RV
- Texas Jeff The town of Trinidad is a beautiful little sea-side village. Shops, restaurants, grocery, infrastructure. Hiking trails! It has just about everything you'd need. I have 2 suggestions: If you have the time and money to spare, treat yourself to a very nice dinner at Larrupin Cafe located just 5 minutes drive up the street from the RV park. We had steak and wine in an outside dining area near a heat lamp. This isn't an inexpensive restaurant but the prices aren't "too bad" for the food, drink and service you will receive. Go through the little town to the historic lighthouse. I believe the lighthouse is only open on the first Saturday of every month so we didn't get a chance to visit it. But the hiking trails made for a day of great exercise.4 years ago Emerald Forest Cabins & RV

I imagine any park in the redwood forests would be an amazing experience, as is Emerald Forest RV Camp. There were no vacancies in any of the state parks in the area so I was a little surprised to see...

“Beautiful Redwood Trees and Lush Ferns ~ Very close to Sue-Meg State Park ! ”
Nightly Rate: $52 USD
We had the perfect RV spot #82 ... A big fallen redwood log was between our sites to one side and there was vegetation / bushes to separate us. Quiet campground and loved the dog park right across...

Definitely go walk / hike through Sue-Meg Park. Trinidad Head hike is beautiful, but a bit challenging. Grocery store, gas just a mile away. Fun to eat down by the pier.

“Tough to move large trailer in ”
Nightly Rate: $69 USD
The pictures make it look like its very open but it is not. The spaces are very tight and close together. We camped at Emerald Forest Cabins & RV in a Travel Trailer.
