Campsite 4 is perfect location. Easy to haul SUPs to lake with wagon. We stayed in the creek area and had minimal wind. Bike able distance to grocery store, ace hardware and several bakeries....

Tip for Other Campers:
The park is near Donner Pass, worth seeing the lake from there on Donner Pass Road. Interesting historical signs around the pass. Also close to Lake Tahoe.
Dry camping for tents or for RV under 24'. Very tight turns. Big boulders. No directional signs for one-way roads in order to back-in. Crunched up our Airstream on a boulder trying to turn around....
