Tip for Other Campers:
You climb to about 5,000 feet then drop back down to 1,000 feet within 5 miles, brakes were starting to get hot and could really smell them burning, same with trans temps on way back up. Should be no problem but make sure your rig is good to go beforehand.
Tips from campers about River Rest Resort
- Horsinu Stop and talk to the locals! Careful on the way to the resort once you turn onto Washington Rd. Its ALL down hill, making it nerve racking, but its worth it.2 years ago River Rest Resort

“Nice little campground on the Yuba River”
Nightly Rate: $60 USD
We really enjoyed this park. Smaller park, dogs allowed, on the Yuba River. Sites are a little tight. We camped at River Rest Resort in a Travel Trailer.

The camp is lovely. The grounds are well maintained and Debbie ( the owner) runs a tight ship. There is lots of fun for the kids in the playground including an RC cars track! We didn't go into town....

Tip for Other Campers:
Tip - if you are coming to run your cars, be prepared to have to trailer to the trails. We didn't have to do that so I don't know how easy or difficult that will be.
