If you are coming up Interstate 8 to hwy 79, be careful. Dust Devils are real. There are road signs every few feet telling you what to do in case of a dust storm. Not following instructions will cost you $1000's of dollars in repairs. Trust me. Also gas stations are few and FAR between so fill up anytime you stumble across one. They are shockingly expensive...

Tip for Other Campers:
The lake is a reservoir, so no swimming, fishing is permitted and pretty good. They do have a nice splash pad, with water attractions to run through, fun for kids.
