Tip for Other Campers:
If you want to go to Yosemite, this campground is worth it. It is a beautiful location and awesome things to do. I have stayed at all three of the Pines campgrounds and I prefer North Pines.
Tips from campers about North Pines Campground
- wandering wics Situated 12 miles southwest of South Bend Indiana, this is an awesome getaway for a weekend or more. Mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, fishing and swimming round off the multiple activities available within the park boundaries.5 years ago Potato Creek State Park
- Jeffonabike Spend time on google earth picking your site. 60 ft sites are tough to get into. There are 4 pull thrus. If you chose electric, be aware that power is about 50' from the site. No water on site but there are a few spigots in the area. we chose to fill at the fill station when we came in. 6 dump lanes on the way out, very nice set up1 week ago Potato Creek State Park
- rudyhehn If you are arriving in late 2024 or early 2025 call for an update about road construction on IN 4 by the park.6 months ago Potato Creek State Park

Tip for Other Campers:
Be sure to bring bikes to visit sites and travel throughout the valley. Pizza was good at Camp Curry. The Valley Floor 2-hour tour was awesome. It begins at Yosemite Lodge. Purchase your tickets ahead of time.

Dump station is at Upper Pines campground - nearby. If you refill fresh like I do, using 7gal jugs, bathhouse in North Pines has potable water outside
