“Fantastic place to camp”
Nightly Rate: $18 USD
Very clean campgwith well spaced isolated sites. Close to Aspn, Independence Pass and Maroon Bells. We camped at Difficult Campground in a Travel Trailer.

“Beautiful campground outside Aspen towards Independent pass”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
No thrills campground. No hookups what so ever, no dump, but I think there was a site to put fresh water in your tanks, though we didnt need to. No cell service what so ever on ATT and Verizonzilch....

Bring your smaller paddle boards and other small hand powered craft or just chairs, a beach umbrella or a pop-up shade source because the Roaring Fork is weir'd close to Aspen and that creates a great lazy river to paddle on and to watch others going by and is just a few miles closer to town than the campground.The Maroon Bells wilderness area is a...
