No cable and in and out Wifi. Altitude 6500 feet. 3 miles from Royal Gorge, 12 to Canyon City which was a great little town. We camped at Royal Gorge / Canon City KOA Holiday in a Motorhome.

10-15 minutes from downtown Canon City and just down the road from Royal Gorge Park. The kids enjoyed the mini golf course and I enjoyed being very close to some amazing mountain bike trails and views...

Tip for Other Campers:
The scenic train ride through the gorge is totally worth the money. Such a great experience. If you like mountain biking, the views from the canyon rim trail and far out were so great. Id like to come back to the area and raft the Arkansas River.

Tip for Other Campers:
Do not go to the ihop in Canon City we waited an hour for our food and it never came. We left. Make sure to go to Coyote Den for good coffee and food.

Tip for Other Campers:
We are Rockhounds and hikers. There is a lot of rock hounding near here. There is also a lot of hiking too! If your fishing the River is right there and very easily accessible. Some of the river access points are free but most are $5 a day or you can get the yearly pass for $80. Salida is about an hour drive west, and Colorado Springs / Pikes peak are about...
