“Street noise was awful”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
It is a fairly nice small RV park on the river, next to a busy road that is very noisy. Clean, and well kept, staff is friendly. No full hookups (no sewer hookup), high water pressure. We camped at...

“Awesome”
Nightly Rate: $75 USD
The hosts here were excellent. We had problems with our RV and they went way out of their way to assist. Our campsite next to the river was clean and beautiful. Phones didnt work, but it has the best...

Eat in Marble at the bar-b-que restaurant. It had the best brisket sandwich I have ever eaten. Marble is a very small town, so it is easy to find the restaurant. Sorry I dont remember the name.
Tips from campers about Carbondale / Crystal River KOA Holiday
- Mickey Ryerson We were only going to stay for 5 nights, Betty talked us into coming early and stayed for 10 nights. Every afternoon at 5 or 5:30 Betty holds a happy hour and shares stories and advice for places to go and things to see. Our favorite experience was touring Mr. Charlies Rig in Morgan City at the International Petroleum Museum. In Morgan City - we had a wonderful southern fried chicken lunch @ Rita Maes. Another highlight was the Zydeco music breakfast breakfast @ Buck & Johnnys in Breaux Bridge, LA. We also recommend the Champagne Swamp/Bayou tour, saw lots of wildlife.1 week ago Betty's RV Park
- 2Rainbows We were here during the annual Giant Omelette Festival, which is a fun event.1 year ago Betty's RV Park
- Judie and Mark Many interesting sites to explore in the area. Very good local restaurants.2 years ago Betty's RV Park

Tip for Other Campers:
Go to Maroon Bells in Aspen. Hike the breathtaking (literally...it's over 9,500 feet elevation) Scenic Loop Trail. Reserve the Maroon Bells shuttle in advance. Parking in Aspen is limited and expensive. We parked at the Brush Creek Park & Ride and took the free bus into Aspen. Penny Hot Springs is 6 miles South of the campground on Hwy 133. Great views. Pro...

Our site was feet away from the Crystal River, flat, and shaded. One of the prettiest campgrounds we have ever visited. The sites were flat and the staff was exemplary. The location is ideal...
