5 night stay in 39ft motorhome. Easy access. Do not have pass Army sentry at gate 6. Site #32 wasn't level but was workable. P/W/S all new. Love the ponderosa pines surrounding us. Few other campers...

Tip for Other Campers:
Short enough ride (15 mi) to the best ADV motorcycle riding I've ever done in the mountains.... Gold Camp Rd toward Cripple Creek.
Not necessarily a kid/dog campground with playground, pool, dog park etc.

“New campground on an Army post lacking some needed features”
Nightly Rate: $45 USD
Huge sites with water, sewer and electric. Very dusty with overgrown weeds. Long haul to laundry and restrooms all the way back at the entrance. We camped at Camp Hale in a Travel Trailer.
