Tips from campers about Island Lake Campground, Grand Mesa National Forest
- Kaniut Be careful coming in to the park that you turn the right direction. RV LIFE instructed us to turn right into an abandoned trailer park. There is a yellow illuminated-sign on the left side of the road. Restaurants and shopping are within walking distance. There is a cattle auction/staging area on the north side of the park. There was no issues with odor, but the constant noise of cattle when youre outside gets annoying. If you have booties for your pets I highly recommend you put them on as the burrs are plentiful.6 months ago Wacky West Travel Park
