Tips from campers about Sun Outdoors Rocky Mountains
- Deanna_Hince_823 So many areas to explore: Bemidji and Walker are two great towns with wonderful stores and restaurants. We ate at Knob Kettle Restaurant and Ruttger's Birchmont Lodge. Both were delicious! Itasca State Park (the start of the Mississippi) and Bemidji State Park have so much to offer. Hiking & Biking & Disc Golf You can rent bikes or bring your own. Miles and Miles of Bike trails are near by.6 months ago Lost Acres Resort

If you want to go over Trail Ridge Road this is where you need to stay. Highly recommend driving Trail Ridge all the way over to Estes Park. Beware of the traffic and crowds in this town! Very touristy with restaurants and shops but parking is sketchy at best. You will need timed entry passes for Trail Ridge Road...

Tip for Other Campers:
Granby is a decent-sized mountain town with two main grocery chains, lots of gas stations, and local restaurants. I highly recommend Java Lava Coffee Shop for breakfast. Their pancakes are from scratch!Grand Lake is just up the road, and it has a charming main street shopping area in addition to boating and fishing on the lake.Rocky Mountain...
