It was uneventful for us Aug 2022. We were driving a 38’ Dutch Star MH towing a Nissan 4WD PU. Pretty drive and the road was in pretty good condition, the switchbacks slowed everyone down but we were not in a hurry, heading to Colorado Springs...

We traveled it twice this past week and had no issues. There are potholes but at the speed you are traveling, they are very predictable and easy to miss. I believe they are doing road work on it the second half of August (likely to repair)....
