“Nice Campground ”
Nightly Rate: $74 USD
Campground is kept up well. Space between sites. A lot of grass at each spot. Close to Gunnison, Crested Butte, and Mount Crested Butte. We camped at Gunnison KOA Journey in a Travel Trailer.

Enjoyed this place, but definitely short of 5*. Livestock is open around campground, which is fun, but lots of poop dropping when walking around. Bathroom also in serious need of update. Otherwise...

- LZ Home Check their gift shop for some great deals; I purchased a very nice men's jacket with hood for under $30. The backin sites are actually better than the pull through, nice view of the pasture and cows and maybe a deer or two.3 years ago Gunnison KOA Journey

Theres plenty of shopping in downtown, Gunnison, and surrounding area. Crested Butte and Black Canyon were gorgeous!

Take a white water rafting trip! Many providers in the area. We used Scenic River Tours. Go to Crested Butte!
