“Quiet Campground. Nice facilities”

Take the scenic drive to Lake City. Absolutely beautiful drive. Lake City itself is a nice little tourist town. There is an old time soda fountain in town that is very popular. We called on April 22nd, and they said they were closed and would not open until May 19th. They close in September. We visited Palisades Senior RV Park, no overnight stay.
Tips from campers about Palisades Senior RV Park

- Rescueridersawyer There is a little Mexican restaurant right around the corner. Thats absolutely delicious, theres a historical monument 10 miles south. Garlic Mikes was very good and ol miners cafe also. Black canyon of the Gunnison is a beautiful visit. Downtown Gunnison has shopping.
