“Bugs and rough roads”

Not worth the drive. Shore fishing isn't great, the 13 mile dirt road is washboard and will best your rig up...DON'T DRIVE IT. It was so bad it broke some cabinets inside. BUGS...recently little...

Beautiful location on the west side of Eleven Mile Reservoir. No water at this campground. There is a hand pump water spigot at the Howbert Point Campground down the road, but no way of pumping it...

Tip for Other Campers:
Bring in water, firewood, bug spray, propane. The marina across the lake has boat rentals and a small store. Otherwise, you'll need to drive to Florissant, Hartsel, or Lake George to get any supplies you need. State Park Pass required to camp here. There's a boat ramp at this campground; however, open weekends only.
