Tips from campers about Pikes Peak RV Park
- USA in a Chevrolet As noted by others diesel fuel is cheaper than other areas. If you need DEF you can buy it in bulk from a pump at Essential 1 on Palmer-Wasilla Highway 4.3 miles away. Cost is $6.29 per gallon versus paying $40 for a 2 1/2 galllon jug. The Iditarod Trail Museum is close by & there is no admission fee. You can ride behind a team of sled dogs on a wheeled cart. Location is great. Close to trails, parks restaurants. Garden of the God's and Pikes Peak. We camped at Pikes Peak RV Park in a Motorhome.
